Assuming you want to maintain the texture:





- What type of material is on the wall? You may have to go with an acrylic (versus latex) paint - check with the paint vendor.





- Simply paint the wall the same as any other wall. Give it two coats.What should i do before painting a textured wall? How do i paint on a textured wall?
Do you want to make the wall smooth again? If so you can use drywall mud and go over it with a few coats and some light sanding afterwards...





If you want to leave it textured just use a roller marked for rough walls..
