How do you stop paint from running under tape on textured walls?

I used blue painters tape to tape the wall. It is a sheetrock wall with a textureHow do you stop paint from running under tape on textured walls?
Don't use tape, it doesn't make a clean straight line.

Go freehand and at 1st just go slow until you get the hang of cutting in.How do you stop paint from running under tape on textured walls?
brush from the edge of the tape in...meaning dont brush down or outward or use a roller use a fair amount of paint to edge it and brush away fromt eh edge...paint wont go under that way.
After you press the tape down tightly, paint it with gesso - an artists product that is used to prepare canvases for painting. You can get gesso at your local craft store. After the gesso dries (pretty quickly), you can paint as usual. Remove the tape carefully (don't just rip it off), and you will have a clean line.
You've gotta use the blue tape first of all... and you've gotta push on it REALLY hard.
there is a product called seal n peal its like a silicone caulk .first you put the seal n peal where you would put your tape then press some plastic or tape on. it it will seal together perfectly. when done it peels right off with ease
buy those painter pads that are for trim work like your doing with the wheels on the top. they dont really work normally. but with the blue tape it ends up so nice and its such a clean straight line. trust me much easier than the paint it twice crap.
Buy painters tape. Its blue and you can find at walmart, Lowe's, home depot. Press really hard when applying. Also, don't wait a day to remove it, try to remove as soon as paint dries.
