Paint textures?

I want to paint an accent wall in my living room its about 16'', i really like metallic paint but im finding it hard to find the colour i want, Homebase is very limited and B%26amp;Q doesnt have the green i want. Im looking for a sort of sage or gold/green Any ideas? The other option im looking at is suede effect paint, it looks difficult to get right but has a much wider range of colours. What do you think?Paint textures?
I like metallic paint too and tried it a few years ago. It consisted of two pots that were applied in different ways and even though it was undertaken by a professional, it looked simply dreadful - cheap and patchy! We ended up repainting it virtually straight away. If you favour the metallic look, why not try wallpaper - there are lots of patterns around at the moment that have large, metallic accents within them which look very classy and expensive.Paint textures?
Paint your wall in sage green and allow to dry. Then mix 'clear base' or 'scumble' with some gold emulsion [ make enough for the wall so you don't run out] and apply over the sage painted wall with a roller. This will give a transculent effect.so you will see the green with a gold shimmer over the top. Try on some plywood first to see if you like the effect
