I want to mix ceiling mud and latex paint to textured ceiling, how much paint to 5 gal of mud?

I have a textured roller to roll out the ceiling, but need to know how much paint to use in a 5 gal bucket of mud.I want to mix ceiling mud and latex paint to textured ceiling, how much paint to 5 gal of mud?
First of all,,,';DON';T';!!!

The two substances aren't meant to be mixed. The MUD is designed,,,as is,,, to dry as rapidly as is possible, and at a consistency to keep it in place as it dries. Adding Latex paint will only thin it, and by the time you were able to mix it all well enough, you have ';soup'

The texturing should be professionally done, and never anything other than a ';knock Down'; effect. Then paint over, after.

Smooth is truly the best way to go however.

You can add Drywall mud Powder to the paint, and make it thick for Texture- you can also use Drywall Primer, it is thick already- before it drys, use a Stomp Brush or Crows foot brush. My 2000 sf home is done exactly like that.

I strongly advise you not to do it. Textured ceilings are hard to keep clean, and hard to repaint without damaging them. They also reduce the resale value of your home. Ask any realtor.
