What can i use to create texture in a painting on canvas?

Wow! What medium are you using? I paint in water-soulable oil ( all the great characteristics of regular oils no fumes and easy clean up) and acrylics. There are so many things you can use. Golden makes all kind of fiber paste - some with grounds . Things I have used besides the golden products - scrap while wet with the end of a palette knife, sludge (art store) tissue paper- matte medium it on to your paper, the icky from around your tube of paint, color, tubing. Let your imagination lead you. What can i use to create texture in a painting on canvas?
There are many pre-made textures you can buy from art/crafts stores or online. They range from powders you can mix into the paint for as little or as much texture as you want. There are gels with glass beads in them, products you can pre-shape on the canvas then paint over, and more.

You can use all sorts of tools, from branches to spatulas and anything else you can put your hands on. Try splattering, spooning, spraying, scraping on or off, throwing, stamping, or any other technique you can imagine.

Imagination is the key to it all. What can i use to create texture in a painting on canvas?
