Textured paint from lowes on ceiling?

removed popcorn, drywall in place on ceiling in bathroom.Have sanded.Would like some texture.Any suggestions that is not real complicatedTextured paint from lowes on ceiling?
Mine has no texture-just painted with the wall color(because after a shower you can see the walls, windows and (you know the ceiling) is full of moisture. It is easier to wipe down the walls and clean them up in the bathroom but in many cases with a popcorn ceiling it is hell. as that stuff starts flaking off(or stains). The bathroom is such a small room that most people do not make it their center piece in the house(just do their business and then get out of that stinky hole).

Texture is used to ';hide'; badly drywalled ceilings.. Now a days they are going with a white painted look(before the invention of texture) Semigloss or eggshell.(oil based paint)Textured paint from lowes on ceiling?
Most hardware stores have ';TEXTURE IN A CAN'; that can be sprayed on and is very easy to use. (ITS VERY MESSY)

The professional technique is to use a hopper and air compressor with texture that is mixed to a heavy soup and sprayed on the walls and ceilings.

Another method is to mix drywall mud with a little extra water and dab it on the ceiling with a short string mop and then knock it down with drywall knife.
